How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I will send you a guide to help you organize your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it is really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invits...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. That is why I decided to photograph non-traditional and laid-back weddings.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am Seville based in Spain and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find an inexpensive way to come because I love the way my creativity is developed when I discover a new place and I do not want distance to be a brake for you.
Which languages do you speak?
I speak native Spanish, fluent English and German.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all the pictures to review them within maximum 1 month for short shootings and a maximum of 3 months for weddings (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story).
Do you give digital files?
Although my vacation packages include digitals, I am not in the CD-selling business cause after the COVID-9 pandemic this happened to be very unprofitable for me. However, I do include digitals with the exclusive and the ultimate wedding packages and also with the “Trash the dress”, the “Pre-Wedding” and the “Engagement” sessions when combined with any wedding package. Furthermore, I will give you the digital file of any printed image you buy for you to use in social media, phone or email them.
Can we print the digitals we receive?
I keep the printing rights because I run this business around the idea of giving my clients the best quality artwork I can offer after years of research and working with the best materials and laboratories and differentiate this business form any other offering only digitals here in Spain. My clients are totally satisfied with having the web resolution digitals for sharing them online and having outstanding artwork hanging on their home walls that they can contemplate every day.
Can we download pictures from the online gallery?
If your package includes digital files you can download them directly from the gallery. Also when you buy any printed artwork, the web resolution digital file is always included. You can review all the photos from the gallery and choose the pictures you want to have printed in your album, wall art or any other. I will release that picture later for you to download after you receive your order. You are also allowed to share the gallery with your friends and family, but they cannot download images they have not purchased. Any of the exclusive print products apart from the included in the packages can also be ordered additionally directly from the gallery!
Can we have pictures in the gallery to be private only?
Yes, you can mark as private any picture in the gallery. That means that the picture will remain viewable only by any user with the main access credentials. I usually mark as private all the getting ready pictures of the bride and groom which can sometimes contain some form of nudity. People who have guest credentials cannot see those pictures and people with no credentials apart from me cannot see any pictures more than the cover image of the gallery.
How can we select the pictures for our album?
You can also choose the pictures for your album directly from the online gallery. Once you selected your album pictures (in case you ordered an album) I will elaborate the mock up, confirm it with you, order the album to the lab and you will receive it in the following weeks.
We don’t live in Spain, how do you send us physical products?
I use the online gallery system to speed up the selection process, so you can review the pictures you want to get without you having to come to the office. But in case you order wall art, albums or any other print product, you will receive it in the address you want no matter where you are. I work mainly with a renowned international lab based in Portugal which send products all around the globe, but I also work with other reputed laboratories based in United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia which will have shorter delivery times for couples living near those areas.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of pictures you will receive depends on the package chosen and the printed images. Every picture you choose or print will be fully edited. My clients always prefer quality rather than quantity and that is why you will never see me offering thousands of pictures in my packages. For other kind of shootings it depends on the package you choose. Check out the pricing page to see the packages I offer.
Can we get all the pictures you shoot?
I shoot in burst mode. In a full wedding, that means I can shoot hundreds of pictures which I will cull before preparing the online gallery. This is to have the option to choose the best picture of every moment (no blinking eyes or not funny-weird faces in the pictures which I will discard in the culling process). I will always choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story. Additionally to the included pictures in the packages, you can buy/print any other image within the gallery.
Should we book in advance?
Yes, for wedding packages I recommend you to book at least 1 year in advance due to the anticipation with which the brides book the wedding date. For vacations shootings ideal will be to book at least 1 month in advance mainly because I have to order the tickets for the visits (To the Alcazar, the Pilato’s house or the ceramic museum) which can be sold out soon during high season.
Which photography equipment do you use?
I use professional level full frame DSLRs cameras and lenses. I always bring backup of any equipment in case anything gets broken during the day, so I can keep up taking pictures. I also use speedlights to control the lighting in dark areas and the party or be creative in some daylight cases. I also have backups of the hard disks drives where I store the images, that way I will not lose data if one hard disk gets corrupted or broken.
Do we have to sing a contract?
Yes, we don’t save the dates unless the clients have signed the contract. This is not only to protect you from me not showing up, but also to cover some other cases that can happen before, during or after the shooting has taken place like photographer illnesses or accidents, couple break up, data loss due to equipment accident or theft and so on. This can sound odd or improbable and almost any of them had happened to me, but there is such a huge list of things that can go wrong that we need to cover them in the contract to let you know how we have to proceed in such strange cases.
We are a big family; do you have sessions for more than six?
Yes, we limit the number of persons depending of the duration of the sessions, but we can still do the shootings with bigger groups or in different places increasing the duration of the session or cancelling the included visit to places like alcazar or the Pilato’s house to have more time shooting the entire family or in another spot. You can always contact me and I will plan a custom session for your family with no compromises.
